NBA 2K24 Season 1 rewards revealed

The NBA 2K24 Season 1 rewards will be front and center for many fans once the new game launches. And though there will be so much to enjoy and sink into with the variety of new features and engaging modes it has to offer, the rewards are a crucial aspect of the game and make for the essence it caters seeing how much you can improve and enrich your overall experience.

The NBA 2K24 release date is less than two days away. And with several of the game’s reveals already available, such as on The W and on MyTEAM, fans are eager to see the very set of rewards they will be playing for that will be available in these modes and MyCAREER as well. So without further ado, here’s a look at all the Season 1 rewards set to arrive with NBA 2K24 come launch.

NBA 2K24 Season 1 rewards

Before we dive into the rewards that will be at your disposal come 2K Day, it’s important to keep in mind that NBA 2K24 will be home to a cross-progression rewards system for MyTEAM and MyCAREER. So upon playing games for either of these two modes, you will progress for both of the rewards paths each comes with, even if you predominantly play one more than the other.

This new rewards system is game-changing, because you can collect all of the best prizes from both modes just by earning XP from playing games. For each new season, NBA 2K will introduce a completely new rewards path for its core three online modes – MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W. And for NBA 2K24 Season 1, there will be plenty to play for in all three modes, which we detail down below.

MyCAREER

NBA 2K24 did not showcase a whole lot of the MyCAREER prizes fans will be able to grind for in Season 1. But based on what they revealed earlier today, fans will be able to play for new Shot Meters, Emote Packs, 2XP Coins, cosmetics, banners, and badges. By the looks of it, fans will also be able to unlock a snazzy purple and gold Season 1 suit and an illuminated pogo-stick they can bounce around on across the neighborhood.

To start off NBA 2K24, the Season 1 Level 40 reward for those on new-generation consoles will be a MyCAREER Gold Floor Setter, while on current-gen, the Level 40 prize is an Extra Badge Point. Once NBA 2K24 launches, we will be sure to update this guide accordingly with more of the quality rewards fans will be able to work towards in MyCAREER on both new and current-generation consoles.

MyTEAM

As fans in the community know, MyTEAM is all about collecting the best cards in the game, and Season 1 aims to get you started with a handful of valuable player items to assist you on your team-building quest. Upon the launch of the new season, fans will immediately be able to unlock a Level 1, 90 OVR Free Agent LeBron James card just by entering the new Season 1 rewards path menu.

As you grind your way over the course of the season, you will also be able to unlock Emerald Kevin Garnett and Jordan Clarkson cards, a Sapphire Vlade Divac card, Ruby Bradley Beal card, several prize balls, and much more. The Level 40 reward for MyTEAM is none other than a 94 OVR Diamond Kyrie Irving Card. And to top it off, fans will also be able to unlock a 94 OVR Diamond Brandon Roy item, and will be able to do so by collecting all the Season 1 player items and reaching Level 40.

The W

Last but surely not least, is that of the exclusive The W rewards fans will be able to play for as we prepare for a thrilling WNBA Playoff ride in a weeks’ time. To kickoff your WNBA journey in NBA 2K24 this year, Season 1 will be home to new Weekly prizes and Seasonal content, providing a broad selection of quality rewards and events for you to enjoy.
