Each team in the NBA has an ‘untouchable’ player. This is the best player in each franchise and, whilst they are considered untouchable, you can convince their current franchise to part ways, but you must be prepared to make some big sacrifices to do so.

To propose a trade, simply head to the Trading Block section of the MyLEAGUE menus, select your desired target from the target list and begin crafting a trade offer. Don’t be disheartened if you get rejected on your first offer, but do be aware that it won’t be easy to convince Steph Curry to leave the Warriors!

How to force a trade in NBA 2K24 MyLEAGUE

If doing things the old-fashioned way isn’t your style, you can make your life easier by adjusting the trade rules in your MyLEAGUE save.

Here is how to do so:

• Open MyLEAGUE
• Scroll to Options
• Select MyLEAGUE Settings
• Scroll to Trades
• Select Trade Logic
• Switch from On to Off

Turning of Trade Logic will allow you to freely swap players between franchises without any restrictions, allowing you to chop and change until your heart is content.

How to make trades in NBA 2K24 MyCAREER

There are a couple of options available to you if you’re looking to secure a move in NBA 2K24 MyCAREER. They are as follows:

• Request a Trade: The first choice available is simply to request a trade. Simply head to the MyCareer tab, select Career Tracker and then hit Request Trade.
• Play Badly: If you really want to get away from your current franchise, then you can force their hand by playing badly on the court. This will increase your chances of being traded but you won’t have the luxury of deciding where you go.
• Play Well: Alternatively, you can increase your chances of earning a move to your dream franchise by playing well.
