Since a Legendary skin costs 2,000 V-Bucks and some bundles cost more, that would still mean that a ton of skins are tied for being the most expensive. Instead, we’re going to look at some really, truly costly skins in this article and showcase the most expensive Fortnite skins.
Which Fortnite skins are the most expensive?
Honor Guard came with the purchase of a $650 Honor View 20. It was announced as a collaboration with the device, and Epic Games made it an exclusive there. It’s one of the rarest skins and one of the most expensive to have ever gotten.
Double Helix is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and it was only redeemable through a bundle. When the game first came to the hybrid console, it was sold in conjunction with Fortnite and the skin for $300. That means it’s hard to get now and it cost players that much to unlock the cosmetic as well.
IKONIK is an expensive skin to have. It required players to get a Samsung Galaxy s10, s10+, or s10e. Those currently go for over $500, so they’re not cheap. They were much more expensive when the skin first came out, too. It’s a lot to pay for one outfit.

Reflex was briefly among the most costly skins. When it first came out, it was tied to the purchase of a Nvidia GeForce graphics card for devices, which cost about $500. That made it an extremely expensive skin. However, it was later added to the Item Shop. Many players got it the normal way, though it hasn’t been seen in over 1,800 days.

The Fortnite Battle Pass has some great skins and has for a very long time. Unfortunately, those don’t cost all that much. The real expensive skins come from random crossovers with expensive purchases that some players must have paid a near fortune for.
They’re rare, but it’s hard to say how much monetary value that costs, so skins like Renegade Raider, Black Knight, Aerial Assault Trooper, Royal Bomber and more can claim to be the rarest Fortnite skin. However, they’re not exactly expensive skins. Fortnite players who do have these, including Tricera Ops, the Reaper, and the original Skull Trooper skin, have a claim to fame. They just didn’t have to pay much money.
