Epic Games is constantly adding new skins to the game, whether that’s original designs or crossovers with massive franchises like Star Wars. And while there are plenty of skins that regularly make returns to the Item Shop, there are plenty of others that have made few, if any appearances since their release, making them incredibly rare in the game today.

These are the five rarest Fortnite skins in 2024
5. Travis Scott and Astro Jack
Travis Scott had one of the biggest events in Fortnite history. The rapper’s in-game concert attracted millions of unique players and is the second-biggest gaming event of all time. His performance also came with a couple of cosmetics, including two skins that have become very rare. The rapper’s skins have been released only six times and were last seen on April 27, 2020. While Travis Scott has been quite controversial, Epic Games’ CEO confirmed that he is not blacklisted from Fortnite, so he may return very soon.

4. Football skins
Back in Chapter 1 – Season 6, Epic Games collaborated with the NFL to release eight football skins in Fortnite. Each of these skins can be customizable with the branding of any NFL team, which is perfect for fans of the football league. The collaboration also included a few more changes in the game, such as a football stadium at Pleasant Park. Interestingly, these cosmetics have become some of the rarest skins in Fortnite. They were last seen on February 3, 2020, and we have no idea when they will return.
3. Shaman
Shaman is an outfit that was first added to Fortnite in Chapter 1 – Season 8. While there doesn’t seem to be anything special about this cosmetic item, it has become one of the rarest Fortnite skins of all time. The skin has been in the Item Shop only four times and was last seen on December 2, 2019. To put this into perspective, Shaman was last available during the first season of Chapter 2. No one but Epic knows when the skin will return to the shop, but many players are hoping it comes back soon.
2. World Warrior
World Warrior is another simple, yet amazing skin. It uses the Ramirez model, which is one of the most popular Fortnite characters, and was released by Epic Games in conjunction with the Fortnite World Cup in 2019. With it being an event skin and so many players having joined since then, it’s no surprise that it’s become one of the rarest Fortnite skins. The skin was available for three days from July 26 to July 28, 2019. It’s a great-looking skin, yet it only costs 800 V-Bucks. While there have been no leaks regarding the return of World Warrior, Epic may be saving it for another big tournament.
1. Reflex
Epic Games originally intended for the Reflex outfit to be exclusive. However, the developer ended up releasing the skin to the Item Shop, causing a lot of backlash. Before its release, players were able to obtain the skin by purchasing one of a few Nvidia GeForce graphic cards. The game developer likely released the skin to the Item Shop by accident. To make up for it, Epic released an exclusive version of it for the owners of the graphics card. In addition, Reflex was removed from the shop and hasn’t been out since March 4, 2019. Reflex will likely stay on the top of the list of the rarest Fortnite skins for a long time, as it’s unclear if Epic Games will ever bring him back.
