Modern Warfare 3 campaign walkthrough mission 7 – Flashpoint

The Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint mission takes you back to Verdansk four years earlier to respond to the stadium terrorist attack orchestrated by Marakov. In control of Soap and sided by Captain Price and Burns, you’ll have to infiltrate the stadium.

Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint walkthrough

As soon as you gain control of Soap, take out the two enemies ahead of you, then those on the stairs to your left. Head up the stairs and clear out the three enemies on the landing above. Take a left then shoot the three guards ahead, but be careful not to shoot any of the running civilians.

Push on ahead, taking on the three more enemies ahead then another two posted further away behind the food stand. Continue on through the concourse, downing enemies as they show up. You’ll meet an armored guard then two more enemies will pop out through a set of double doors.

Climb up the stairwell, taking out the guards on the first landing. When you reach the top, there are two other enemies holding hostages. Aim for clean headshots to take them out. Let Price unlock the door then follow him to the entrance to the Penthouse Suite.

Inside is a crew of paramedics. Don’t be fooled, they are Makarov’s men in disguise. Shoot them down then proceed through the door at the back. 

Capturing Makarov

Follow Price to the elevator then help him pry open the doors. Rappel down the elevator shaft to the garage. Take a left at the bottom and wait for the ambulance to drive towards you, then shoot the driver. Approach the ambulance and open the back door. Inside is Makarov.

Escort Makarov forward by melee hitting him until you get ambushed. Clear out the enemies ahead and in the stairwell to the left then press on, pushing Makarov forward as before. Squeeze between the trucks then head right. At the end of the tunnel another group of soldiers will show up. Take cover behind the cars and pick them off. Grenades work well in the close quarters here.

Open the gate. You’ll need to clear the area on the left, which is a maze of parked trucks. Ghost will provide sniper support but the heavy lifting is down to you. Use cover as much as possible and use grenades to take out enemies with riot shields. 

Reach the chopper to successfully extract Makarov and wrap up the Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint mission. On to the MW3 Oligarch mission.
