Modern Warfare 3 campaign walkthrough mission 5 – Deep Cover

As the name implies, the Modern Warfare 3 Deep Cover campaign mission involves going undercover in the Arklov Peak military base as CIA agent Kate Laswell to meet up with a Russian asset, Yuri Volkov. Patience and keeping a low profile are key to not getting spotted.

Modern Warfare 3 Deep Cover walkthrough

As soon as you gain control, holster your weapon to conceal it and keep a low profile. Your goal is the Arklov Administrative building at the center of the military base. Head down the hill and take the road left. Stay behind crates and vehicles as best you can.

Take a right at the armored vehicle and cut through the hangar then head left through the building entrance checkpoint. Make a beeline for the back of the compound where you can hide among a cluster of small buildings. Keep moving to remain incognito and avoid staying in the line of sight of enemies for long.

Wait for an officer carrying a keycard to leave the building and make his way up the stairs of the pre-fab container building opposite. He’ll talk to an officer there, then come back down again and make his way to the room below. Approach him either from behind and take him down or use your silenced X12 then get the keycard.

Use the keycard to get inside the administrative building then walk forward past the guards and take a left into the room behind the reception area to meet Yuri and trigger a short cut scene.

Get to the Roof

Exit the room and take right past the reception desk. Run along the corridor and take the stairs on your left up. At the top of the stairs, bear left and continue until you hit the elevator shaft on your left. Climb up the ladder. On the next floor, take a right and follow the corridor then go up the stairs.

Once you reach the roof, run to the helicopter and jump on to complete the Modern Warfare 3 Deep Cover mission. Up next, Crash Site.
