It’s no surprise you’re seeking the best Lachmann-556 loadout in MW3. The weapon was first introduced in MW2’s Warzone 2 and didn’t take long to become one of my favourite assault rifles in the Modern Warfare series. If you’ve managed to get your hands on the Lachmann-556, we’ve got the best loadout options for you.Â
We’ll be taking you through how to leverage the Lachmann-556’s reliability in mid to long ranges by choosing attachments that minimize recoil and sway. But before we dive right in, we suggest you go through our MW3 multiplayer tips and tricks if you’re struggling with getting XP or winning matches in the game. With that said, here’s the best Lachmann-556 loadout in MW3.
Best Lachmann-556 loadout and attachment in MW3
- Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel
- Stock: Lachmann S76 Factory Stock
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Rear Grip: LMK64 Grip
Let’s start with the Lachmann-556 muzzle. Despite the Harbinger D20 incurring minor setbacks, it grants a massive increase in bullet velocity. The heavy silencer also does a fine job of enhancing the Lachmann’s reliability, making it suitable for long ranges. The Lachmann S76 Factory Stock combined with the LMK64 Grip will improve the weapon’s sprint speed, aim-down sight time, and sprint-to-fire speed giving you fast reaction times.
Up next is the 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel which is a hefty addition that significantly boosts the weapon’s range, making it easier to control and transforming it into a mid-range powerhouse. For ammunition, we’ve gone with the 5.56 High Velocity which despite having second thoughts, it turned out to be a game changer that makes this assault rifle feel like a sniper.
I also increased the weapon’s magazine with the 40-round mag which is always a good idea if you’re looking for some extra rounds in difficult maps where you’re always making a move like Rust, then definitely go with our suggested Magazine. That extra capacity will come a long way.
Best Lachmann-556 perks and equipment
- Vest: Infantry Vest
- Gloves: Commando Gloves
- Helmet: Ghost T/V Camo
- Boots: Stalker Boots
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: EMD Grenade
For the best perks and equipment, we recommend going with the Infantry Vest to make your tactical sprints last longer. This can also be combined with the Commando Gloves to help you reload while sprinting, further increasing your mobility on the battlefield.
I often use Stalker Boots for assault rifles as it increases the weapon’s strafe and ADS speed. The Ghost T/V Camo will help you stay hidden and avoid detection by enemy UAVs or even heartbeat sensors. As for Lethal and Tactical, I’ve gone with the Semtex which increases the effectiveness of sticky grenades and the EMD Grenade which can track enemies for smooth takedowns.
