Designed to shine in close-quarters combat, the MX Guardian is going to be a valuable weapon for loadouts in Season 4 Reloaded. We’re here to give you all of the information you need to unlock the shotgun and dominate your opponents this season.
In addition to the new shotgun, Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 Reloaded brings in the highly-anticipated crossover with Amazon’s The Boys with new operators and weapon camos. Warzone 2 gets the brand-new Vondel map. For both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 players, let’s go over how to unlock the MX Guardian shotgun in Season 4 Reloaded.
Unlocking the MX Guardian in Modern Warfare 2
To unlock the MX Guardian shotgun in Warzone 2, you’ll need to complete the Classified sector of the battle pass. To unlock this sector, first complete any of the adjacent sectors. The sectors you can complete to unlock the Classified sector are D2, D3, D7, D6, D5, or D4.
Once you have successfully progressed through one of the aforementioned sectors, you’ll be able to unlock Classified, at which point you will have to complete it in its entirety. The Classified sector in Season 4 Reloaded acts differently than the normal sectors of the battle pass. Instead of unlocking each reward through battle pass tokens, you’ll have to complete challenges for each reward. The challenges and rewards for the Classified sector are:
- Emblem: Dependable – unlocked after getting 10 ADS Operator Kills with Shotguns
- Calling Card: Gunfire – unlocked after getting 10 Hipfire Operator Kills with Shotguns
- Loading Screen: Fanning Hutch – unlocked after getting 10 Headshot Operator Kills with Shotguns
- Double Weapon XP Token: 1 hour – unlocked After Getting 10 One-Shot Operator Kills with Shotguns
