The Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff Program is here, introducing a quality collection of new player items for fans to pursue. Ultimate Team has been off to a hot start in Madden 24. And with Week 2 of the 2023 NFL regular season just around the corner, fans have a lot to look forward to with the Ultimate Kickoff Program releases front and center in MUT. For those that don’t know, the Ultimate Kickoff is a promo that celebrates the key stories that transpired over the offseason, showcasing all the new faces in new places.

Since Madden 24’s official launch in August, Ultimate Team has been busy catering several new promos, including the likes of the AKA Program and Legends Program. But after a long and slow offseason, the NFL is back and several fans couldn’t be more excited for its return as well as for the arrival of the second Ultimate Kickoff Program release in Madden 24.

Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff Release 2 launch time

The second release of the Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff Program is targeted to go live today, September 14, at 1:30PM EST / 6:30PM BST. Though this was supposed to be the case for the first release as well, which took place on September 7, Madden NFL Direct did announce on their Twitter page that the program’s launch was delayed, eventually announcing its arrival two hours later. So be sure to stay tuned for any updates should that take place once more with the second release.

Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff Program details

The Ultimate Kickoff Program is a pretty extensive one, coming with a much bigger Field Pass than most along with a variety of ways you can earn some great player rewards. Consisting of 19 total levels, the Ultimate Kickoff Field Pass is home to MUT Coin (5K to 10K), Season XP (20K to 30K), 76+ Ultimate Kickoff players, and an 85 OVR Account Bound (BND) Hero you can unlock at Level 8. For those aiming to complete the entire Field Pass, you will be able to unlock either an 85 OVR Ultimate Kickoff Hero player item that’s auctionable, or can choose to add an BND Champion upon reaching Level 19.

However, another important feature about this new Field Pass is the 83 and 85 OVR upgrade tokens you can apply to two specific Ultimate Kickoff challenge rewards players. Upon receiving both, you can either choose to upgrade one of them to an 85 OVR or both to 83 OVRs, applying one to each. In order to unlock these tokens and Field Pass rewards, you will need to complete the 96 total challenges that will be available with the arrival of the second release along with completing the objectives the program comes with.

In addition to the Program XP and Ultimate Kickoff Program Player packs, fans had the opportunity to unlock two Vote Tokens along the milestone reward path in the solo challenges menu. Once you unlocked these tokens, you could use them to vote on which of the two challenges players you wanted to receive an 86 OVR upgrade for, with the winner than receiving the boosted rating. With that all in mind, let’s have a look at the full selection of Ultimate Kickoff Release 1 and 2 players, all of which will be live in MUT come 1:30PM EST.

Madden 24 Ultimate Kickoff Release 2 players

Unlike the first release, the second player drop of the Ultimate Kickoff Program is a bit smaller, coming with just 21 new 85+ OVR players. However, despite the difference in quantity, there’s no shortage of quality player items available in the second release of the program, and fans had the opportunity to see that firsthand on the Good Morning Madden reveal earlier today.

To unlock or acquire any of these new Release 2 players, fans will be able to do so by completing their sets, bid for them in the Auction House, secure them from packs you purchase in the Store. On that note, here’s a look at all the Ultimate Kickoff Program Release 2 players set to arrive later today.
