The 16th week in the NFL is officially history, and there were a ton of players worthy of making it into Madden 24 TOTW 16. Whether it was on Sunday, Thursday Night Football or Monday Night Football (or any of the uniquely scheduled holiday games), plenty of NFL stars will make their entrance to the weekly set. Here’s who made it this time around.
Madden 24 TOTW 16 Cards
Limited Editions – 95 OVR
After a historic performance, Amari Cooper gets the best card this week. The Cleveland Browns wide receiver had a record-setting day, including 11 catches for an absurd 265 yards and two touchdowns. The WR had one of the best games all season by anyone.
Offensive Player of the Week – 94 OVR
It was a career day for George Pickens, who caught four passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a deep threat all night, catching long passes after burning the defense and getting this card.
Defensive Player of the Week – 94 OVR
Christian Barmore of the New England Patriots gets a card here. The LE was incredible in Week 16, posting eight total tackles and three sacks in a stunning upset victory. He made life difficult for the Broncos all night long.
Zach’s Tips
Breece Hall has been red hot down the stretch to close out the season, and EA had no choice but to recognize him after rushing and catching for over 90 yards and scoring twice.
Heroes – 91 OVR
Las Vegas Raiders DE Malcolm Koonce earned a card this week aftersix tackles and three sacks as part of an upset win. On offense, Breece Hall is more than deserving of a card here. He had 95 yards on the ground and 96 through the air with two touchdowns for the New York Jets.
High Elites – 87 OVR
DeMarcus Robinson starred out for the Los Angeles Rams, catching six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in a win. YaYa Diaby is this week’s High Elite on defense after five tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a stuff for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Golds – 85 OVR
Zamir White had an excellent day filling in for the injured Josh Jacobs, getting 22 carries and rushing for 145 yards with them. On defense, Tony Adams had five huge tackles for the New York Jets so he gets a good card.
Madden 24 TOTW 16 release date
Madden 24 Team of the Week 16 would ordinarily be released on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. It has been pushed back twice now, though, to January 10, 2024. It will officially be launched and live in-game at the release time of 1:30PM EST / 6:30PM BST. Before each TOTW release, Madden NFL 24 reveals the new players typically the morning of every Wednesday on their Good Morning Madden Twitch live stream at 10:30AM EST.
