As was the case in Madden 23, there are three different catches that you can make in Madden 24. They are as follows:

• Aggressive Catch: This is the catch type that you will use most often when you’re looking to make big yards on those long, deep plays. The aggressive catch will be utilised when the receiving player is under pressure from the defence.
• Controls: Hold Triangle/Y

• Run After Catch (RAC): This is a catch type that you will use when you are looking to make the extra yards post-catch with your speedy receivers. By selecting the RAC option, your receiver will look to gain extra yards post-catch by advancing up field.
• Controls: Hold Square/X

• Possession Catch: This is a catch type that you will use when you’re looking to reduce the risk of your receiver dropping the ball. The possession catch ensures that your receiver uses two hands to catch and collect the ball. This option is useful when you’re attempting to make those short gains up the field.
• Controls: Hold X/A
