If you are looking to upgrade your mech in Lightyear Frontier, you need to get your hands on some Rabbages. This vegetable is the only one you can use to make Rabbage Oil – a necessary ingredient for some mech upgrades. Without this, you won’t be progressing much in the game. Here is how to get Rabbages in Lightyear Frontier.
Getting Rabbages in Lightyear Frontier
Rabbages can be found growing in the Pine Heights region. This is an early game region that is to the west of The Meadows starting area. Before you can get Rabbages, you will need to restore Pine Heights. Once that is done, you can use your vacuum to collect Rabbage seeds. These seeds are used to grow the vegetable at your homestead.
Where to find Rabbages in Lightyear Frontier
You can find Rabbages in the Pine Heights region of the map. Before you can obtain this vegetable, you need to restore the Pine Heights region by removing all of the Noxious Slime. Once that has been done, Rabbages will start to grow in the area the following day.

You can harvest the Rabbages by using your Vacuum Harvester. Doing so will get you Rabbage Seeds. Take these seeds back to your homestead and plant them in a garden bed. After planting the seeds, you will need to wait about three days for them to fully grow. Once grown, you can harvest them using your Spike Saw.
How to make Rabbage Oil in Lightyear Frontier
Now that you have gotten your hands on some Rabbages, you can make Rabbage Oil by using your Oil Presser. It takes two Rabbages to make one bottle of Oil. Keep this in mind if you plan on making a lot of it. You may need to plant multiple garden beds with seeds to get the number of vegetables required to make the oil. Be sure not to destroy any garden beds with Caroots. After all, that vegetable is necessary as well.
