How to craft Wool Fabric in LEGO Fortnite

Wool Thread can be used to create Wool Fabric at the Loom in LEGO Fortnite. 5 Wool Threads, created from 2 Wool each, are used to create 1 Wool Fabric. This process can take a while too so we’ve listed out the steps for you.

How to get Wool in LEGO Fortnite

Before getting to Wool Fabric, LEGO Fortnite players need to collect Wool. This can then be turned into Wool Thread and finally Wool Fabric. This basic resource can be obtained from sheep scattered across the world. There are three ways to get Wool in LEGO Fortnite:

  • Pet the sheep. While they can be skittish, walk slowly and you should be able to interact with the sheep. Do so and you’ll get Wool without harming the sheep.
  • After clearing some bushes, throw some Vines near sheep. This will lure some sheep and they drop Wool once they eat the Vines.
  • Kill sheep. While this is unnecessary, you can also get Wool this way.

How to make Wool Thread in LEGO Fortnite

Now that you have Wool, you’ll need the Spinning Wheel to turn it into Wool Thread. Here’s how to make Wool Thread in LEGO Fortnite:

  • Use a Lumber Mill to create Planks and Wooden Rods from Wood. It costs 8 Wood and 15 Granite to make. Wood can be gathered from branches and trees. As for the Granite, you can pick up small rocks scattered around the world.
  • Now create a Spinning Wheel. It costs 8 Planks, 5 Wooden Rods, 5 Wood, and 5 Wolf Claws. Wolves prowl the forestland biome and can be knocked out for their claws. Keep a sword or bow with you as your fists won’t deal a lot of damage.
  • Here, you can convert Wool into Wool Thread. Note that the Spinning Wheel cannot be used when it’s raining unless you’ve got a roof overhead.

Upgrade your Crafting Bench to create rarer variants of tools in LEGO Fortnite

As you travel across biomes, you’ll need to use better equipment to take advantage of their resources.

Our 15 steps to make Wool Fabric in LEGO Fortnite

Now that you have the required raw materials, we can proceed with the final item: Wool Fabric. Here’s how to craft Wool Fabric in LEGO Fortnite:

  • As mentioned, get Wool from Sheep.
  • Then turn Wool into Wool Thread at the Spinning Wheel. Follow the three steps listed above.
  • You’ll need 9 Flexwood, 8 Flexwood Rods, and 6 Sand Claws to build a Loom.
  • Flexwood isn’t available right away. You need to head to the desert biome and cut down cacti with the Rare Forest Axe. We’ve got an elaborate Flexwood guide for LEGO Fortnite so check it out.
    • The Rare Forest Axe is created with 5 Cut Amber and 3 Knotroot Rods.
    • You’ll need a Gem Cutter (20 Marble Slabs, 5 Rough Amber, 5 Sand Claws, and 3 Sand Shells) to turn Rough Amber into Cut Amber. Rough Amber can be found in the desert biome and requires an Uncommon Pickaxe. For Sand Claws and Sand Shells, defeat Wolves and Sand Rollers in the desert biome.
    • An Uncommon Pickaxe needs 3 Knotroot Rods and 3 Bone to make at the Uncommon Crafting Bench (8 Planks and 3 Sand Shells). Skeletons spawn at night that can be defeated for Bone.
    • Grassland biome caves have Knotroot growing on their walls and you can turn them into Knotroot Rods at the Lumber Mill.
    • Now that you have the resources for a Rare Forest Axe, you’ll need to upgrade your Crafting Bench to rare with 12 Knotroot Rods, 15 Marble Slabs, 6 Sand Claws, and 3 Sand Shells. Marble Slabs are made from Marble in LEGO Fortnite at the Stone Breaker which costs 35 Marble and 20 Knotroot.
  • Flexwood can then be turned into Flexwood Rods at the Lumber Mill.
  • As for the Sand Claws, fight Wolves in the desert biome (also called Dry Valley) to get them.
  • Now that you have all the resources, build a Loom.
  • With the Loom ready, convert 5 Wool Threads to Wool Fabric.

Is it worth creating Wool Fabric in LEGO Fortnite

Since the Glider requires it and is one of the best ways to travel in the game, it’s worth all the effort. Consider dynamic foundations if you want something to travel on land or sea. And if you’re into decor, Wool Fabric is used to create rugs and chairs too. You also get protection from the cold with Charms created with Wool Threads.
