The first axe you’ll be able to craft does a decent job at first, but you’ll quickly find that it can’t cut everything down, and that you’ll need a higher-tier axe to do a better job. How to craft an Uncommon Axe in LEGO Fortnite
In order to craft an Uncommon Axe, or any other Uncommon tools in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll first have to upgrade your Crafting Bench to the second tier. The first upgrade will require you to have 3x Shells and 8x Planks. Once you’ve got those materials, head to your bench and upgrade it to unlock the Uncommon recipes.

Skeletons can be fairly dangerous early on, so invite one of your villagers to come with you, as they’ll be able to take out a few Skeletons no problem.
With the Crafting Bench upgraded, you’ll now be able to craft an Uncommon Forest Axe. This will require you to have 3x Bones and 3x Wooden Rods. Wooden Rods are fairly easy to come by, requiring you to simply place some wood in a Lumber Mill to process it. Bones can be found by killing Skeletons, which are found outside at night or in caves.
After you’ve gathered all the necessary materials, simply head back to your Crafting Bench, and make yourself a brand-new Uncommon Axe – that’s all there is to it!
