As you venture into the tunnels near the Mortuary Temple dig site that lead under the pyramid as part of the Idol of Ra main story quest, you’ll come to a circular chamber that’s lined with Adamic tablets on the walls and three statues in the center. It’s a tricky old puzzle that is likely the toughest you’ve come across so far. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to solve the Chamber of Resonance puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Chamber of Resonance puzzle solution
To solve the Chamber of Resonance puzzle, you’ll need to photograph six Adamic Tablets then get Indy to utter the words inscribed on them in the correct order near the statues in the middle of the chamber. As soon as you enter the chamber, photograph the first tablet on the right. This will prompt you to open up Laura’s Journal, triggering a short cut scene where Indy tries to shed some light on the puzzle.

Photograph the other two Adamic tablets in the chamber (ignore the broken one for now), getting you the words Vuha, Hat sha-Athon, and Leneph. When Indy speaks the word Leneph, the room will shake, revealing a small gap to the left of the statues that you can crawl through. Head through. Indy’s lighter will blow out. Relight it and light the brazier on your left, then snap a picture of the tablet on the wall above to get the word Eo-shohd.

Press on down the corridor and you’ll find yet another brazier to light and another tablet to photograph on your left. This gets you the word Lezeem. Continue on to find the missing Tablet Piece for the broken tablet back in the chamber. Pick it up and retrace your steps or smash through the wall on you right with the metal rod that’s on the floor next to the brazier. Place the broken piece on the tablet and snap a picture to get the word Al haht sheram.

Head to the altar at the front of the statues and lay out the six photos of the Adamic tablets. You’ll now need to form two sentences consisting of three words each, as follows:
- Heed – The Lord’s – Oath
- Protect – The Secret – Of the name
You know you’re on the right track when the holes on the altar start spewing sand – one for each correct word. Speak the two sentences correctly to solve the Chamber of Resonance puzzle. This will trigger a short cutscene where the sand below Indy’s feet is sucked down, landing him in a cave below the chamber.
