Where to get Aluminum Ore in Once Human
To get Aluminum Ore, you need to use a Steel Pickaxe to mine Aluminum Ore nodes. You can unlock the Steel Pickaxe recipe in the memetics research tree and craft it by smelting Iron Ore into Steel then crafting Steel Ingots in a Smelter. You’ll find Aluminum deposits in both Chalk Peak and Red Sands. Here are several confirmed locations where nodes spawn:

You can also occasionally get Aluminum Ore from the large Drake Trees in the Red Sand desert. You’ll find these large tree inn the central and northern areas of the desert. Harvesting them has a chance of dropping Aluminum and Tungsten Ore. If you happen to go to the far western portion of Red Sands, there’s a hidden edge packed with resources, including Aluminum, Silver, and Startrace. Once you’re ready to process Aluminum Ore into Ingots, you will need the Electro-Smelting memetic. Crafting requires acid, which you can farm in large quantities as required.
