Tungsten Ore in Once Human is a mid-to-late-game resources that spawns in high-level areas like the Red Sands and Chalk Peak. It’s far less common than Copper but is relatively easy to find if you know where to look. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get Tungsten Ore in Once Human.
Where to get Tungsten Ore in Once Human
To get Tungsten Ore, you’ll need to mine Tungsten nodes using an Alloy Pickaxe, which you can craft using Aluminum Ingots at an Intermediate Supplies Bench once you’ve unlocked the Advanced Tool memetic skill. Aluminum Ore is found in the Red Sands and Chalk Peak regions. The nodes resemble normal stone nodes but with distinctive dark, black crystals poking out of them.

Given that you get access to the region earlier, Red Sands is your best bet to find Tungsten Ore nodes. You’ll find the ore pretty much all over the map in small clusters, but here are a few confirmed locations to make tracking it down a lot easier:

| Central Red Sands | The centre of Red Sand between 73 Point, Blackfell, and Sunshine Farm is rich in resources, including Tungsten Ore. |
The reasons why we have listed these as our favourite locations are largely down to them being fairly barren wastelands. This means these are ideal base-building locations close to end-game ore locations. The other benefit is that players can find resrouces like Startrace, Silver, and Gold.
When you get Tungsten Ore, you can turn it into Tungsten Ingots at an Electric Smelter. You will need the memetics that allows you to create advanced alloys for both Aluminium and Tungsten ingots.
