Genshin Impact has its very own daily check-in function that you can claim every day without logging into the game. The way to do this involves HoYoverse’s official app and website, HoYolab.
Within this app, you can access the daily check-in function for Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and Honkai Impact 3rd. For Genshin, the daily check-in is a good way to supplement your account with free rewards each day, including valuable Primos.

How to claim Daily Check-in rewards
The daily check-in function in Genshin Impact can be claimed in two ways; by using the HoyoLab app on your smartphone or by going to the official HoyoLab daily check-in webpage using your browser.
Regardless of whether you use your phone or the website, the steps are the same and claiming your daily check-in bonuses couldn’t be easier:
- In the HoyoLab app, tap the second icon at the bottom left of the screen.
- This will take you to the man game hub, where you should tap on the Paimon icon located at the top of the page.
- This will bring you to the Genshin hub in the HoYolab app.
- On this page, you can either tap on the second option on the bar that reads ‘Check-in’.
- Alternatively, there is a tiny icon at the top right of the screen under the magnifying glass that will let you check in faster.
Within the check-in menu, you will see all the available daily rewards. Each time you claim an item, you won’t be able to claim the next item until the following day. The daily check-in gives you 40 Primogems over a month, which isn’t much but they are entirely free.

Checking in every day will give you free items. While they aren’t much, they will add up over time. Anything given for free in Genshin should be snapped up as frequently as possible, which is why checking in every day is always worth your while.
All daily check-in rewards
These are all the rewards you can get from checking in every day. The timer for checking in resets at 4pm GMT in the UK. The rewards each month do not change, but sometimes there will be a bonus check-in, however, this is entirely up to whenever HoYoverse runs the event.

Do I need the HoYoLab app to check in?
Nope! If you don’t want the app, you don’t have to bother with it. You will need your Genshin account to log into HoYoLab regardless.
Do you get free Wishes from the check-in?
Technically, no. You do get Primogems, which you can trade for wishes if that counts.
