How to destroy stone structures in Fortnite – Earth Chakra quest guide

The second stage of the Elements Pass is here and the Earth Chakra quests have finally become available. These are all themed around earthbending, and one particular quest requires you to destroy stone structures in a game, but it doesn’t really specify what it means by that.

You’ll want to make sure you’re completing all the quests in each Chakra so you can make sure you’ve got enough chi to complete the Elements Pass and get all the loot that’s available. So to make sure you can get this quest out of the way quickly, we’ve put together this handy guide.

Destroying stone structures in Fortnite Elements Pass

When first reading this, you might think that this quest requires you to destroy specific stone structures around the map. This would make sense, especially seeing as that mirrors the Water Chakra quest to destroy a cabbage cart, but as it turns out, it’s actually a lot simpler than that.

Thankfully, to complete this quest all you need to do is destroy any structure that you would get stone from in the regular battle royale. This can be anything from rocks dotted around the map to walls of brick buildings.

Each wall destroyed counts as one structure towards this quest. A building with four stone walls, therefore, will provide four progression out of the 50 needed once destroyed.

Where to find stone structures in Fortnite

Stone structures can be found almost anywhere across the map, especially if you’re just destroying random rocks. But if you’re looking to get the quest finished quickly, there are a couple of ideal locations to do just that.

Head to somewhere like Tilted Towers where there are plenty of brick buildings around, and all you need to do is whip out your pickaxe and start knocking everything down. Once you’ve destroyed 50 different stone structures, you’ll have completed the quest and earned yourself a nice 350 Chi towards completing the Elements Pass.

Another great option is to head to somewhere like Mount Olympus. Almost everything here is made of stone, so you can just knock down all the pillars, walls and stairs to your heart’s content until you’re done, though you might run the risk of other players coming here too.

Easiest way of destroying stone structures in Fortnite

You could just hit these structures with your pickaxe until they break, but with 50 in total to destroy, this could take a while. A good idea is to make use of one of the unique Mythics from this event – the earthbending scroll. The left-click fires a rock which can easily take out one of these structures, while the right-click creates a wall that can often break one in one go.

Another option is to find a car or truck and ram your way through buildings. Naturally, once the vehicle takes enough damage, you might need to find something else. But it’s a good way of getting some quick progression in this quest.
