On Thursday night, Fortnite released a free emote that you can get for a limited time. The process is very simple and takes no longer than a minute, which is perfect. However, what if you could get an additional free item while getting the emote? Well, that is what we will explain in this guide.

The guide will lead you through the process of obtaining the free Heart Sign emote. This Fortnite emote is available for a limited time, so make sure to grab it before it expires. It was vaulted for more than three and a half years, so it may not return anytime soon.

How to get a free Fortnite emote and backbling?

To get the free emote, you simply need to launch Fortnite and get it from the Item Shop. This is easy and quick, but by doing it, you won’t be able to unlock an additional item. As you may already be familiar, Fortnite is offering the Goldskull Peel Pack backbling for free this season, and you can get it alongside the emote.

If you haven’t unlocked the backbling yet, follow these steps:

You can only get the free backbling if you complete the purchase on the web shop. If you get the free emote directly from the game, you will not be eligible for it. Keep in mind that you won’t get the bonus item if you obtained it earlier in the season.

The free Fortnite emote will stay in the game until October 5, 8 PM Eastern Time, giving you more than enough time to grab it. If you want to unlock even more items, check out our guide on how to get free skins in Fortnite.
