If you’re looking for how you can get access to the Football Manager 2024 beta, then you’re in the right place. Like every year, in the lead-up to the full release of the game, developers Sports Interactive are providing a short beta period for players to try out the game and report any issues before the launch, and we’ll help you get signed up.

If you haven’t already, check out our Football Manager 2024 release date guide to find out when the full release will be, as well as all the new features set to bring a host of improvements to the gameplay experience in this year’s version, like set-pieces, squad building, and transfer market changes.

With that, let’s take a look at when we can expect the FM 24 beta release date.

FM 24 Beta start date prediction

The wait is over. Football Manager 2024 early access is underway. It’s not quite as simple as that though, as only qualifying players can access the game.

We had predicted the soft launch for FM24 to be two weeks prior to the official release date. This lined up well with the beta periods from previous years, and SI has continued this trend with a beta starting two weeks before FM 24’s full release.

How to sign up for the FM 24 beta

To access the FM 24 beta, you much pre-purchase the PC version of the game either from Steam or the Epic Store before the full release date of 6 November.

At the time of writing, the PC version of the game is only available on these two stores, and have a pre-purchase discount of 10%. Check out our Football Manager 2024 Pre Order guide to see how you can get the best deal.

While the game will be making its way to consoles, iOS and Android as in previous years, purchasing these versions of the game will not provide access to the beta.

SI have confirmed that the beta version is only available to players of the PC version of the game, meaning players on different platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch will have to wait for the full release.

Additionally, while both PC and console versions of the game will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, this also does not provide early beta access, with both versions of the game set to launch in line with the full release, even if you purchase the game on the Microsoft store.

This is set to be the most complete version of FM, with the future of Football Manager bringing with it some new additions to shake up the next generation, such as the introduction of the J.League and Japanese language, and Football Manager 2024 mobile coming to Netflix memberships as well.
