How to increase potion capacity in Final Fantasy 16
To get more potions in Final Fantasy 16, you’ll need to complete The Root of the Problem, Weird Science, Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol side quests. These won’t become available until you’ve moved to the new Hideaway after completing the Cid the Outlaw main story quest.
During The Root of the Problem side quest, you’ll be sent on an errand by Nigel, the head botanist at The Hideawau, to find ingredients. Completing the quest gives you Morganbeard extract, which enhances consumable potency. The side quest becomes available once you start the After the Storm main story quest.
You can pick up the Weird Science side quest from Owain at the Hideaway after the Out of the Shadow main story quest and completing the Letting Off Steam III side quest. Completing the quest earns you the Treated Potion Satchel, which increases potion capacity.
Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol unlocks at the start of A Song of Hope main story quest. Talk to Nigel, who’ll have you hunt down a Morbol. Check the Hunt Board for details or, for the exact location, check out our Final Fantasy 16 Notorious Marks locations guide. Complete the quest to get the Invigorated Morganbeard Extract, which increases potion potency and is the final potion upgrade in Final Fantasy 16.
