What is Final Fantasy 16 renown

Renown unlocks when you visit the second iteration of The Hideaway after the Cid the Outlaw main story quest. Renown is awarded each time you complete a side quest or defeat a Notorious Mark and is essentially an indicator of Clive’s favour among those at The Hideaway and further afield in Valisthea as a whole.

When you unlock renown, you’ll get access to The Patron’s Whisper in The Hideaway’s mess next to Alliant Reports and the Hunt Board. Talking to Desiree at The Patron’s Whisper, you’ll be able to keep track of your total renown, but also redeem renown for various rewards, including gil, ability points, items, crafting materials, Orchestrion rolls, and more.
