Where to get Darksteel in Final Fantasy 16
To get Darksteel in Final Fantasy 16, you’ll need to find and defeat The Grim Reaper Notorious Mark, also known as the Prince of Death, and Thanatos Usher of the Underworld Notorious Mark. Per the Board Hunt, The Grim Reaper mark is in Cape Orsiere in Sanbreque, but offers little else in the way of instructions.
You’ll find the mark at the location in the image above, which is west of Northreach, southwest of the Royal Meadows, northwest of Claireview, and north of Lostwing in the northwest of Sanbreque. You best bet is to fast travel into the Northreach Obelisk, head through the town and then continue west to the location.
The Grim Reaper is one of the toughest hunts in the game, though deceptively only an A-rank Notorious Mark, so come prepared with plenty of potions, spend points on abilities, and be prepared for a fight. After defeating The Grim Reaper, you’ll get Final Fantasy 16 Darksteel as a reward for your efforts.
