The FIFA 23 Ligue 1 TOTS squad has arrived in Ultimate Team as the Team of the Season event enters its fifth week. The French league release is different than the previous TOTS reveals as EA did not make a voting period available for the team.
However, the day has finally arrived, and the Ligue 1 TOTS is now live in Ultimate Team. To assist you with staying on top of all the new players that were revealed, including any from SBCs or Objectives, we’ve provided the full list of new Ligue 1 TOTS players down below.
Ligue 1 TOTS squad
Let’s start with the obvious. It is no surprise that Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi are in the squad, but we could have told you that they would be included before the season even began.
Up next is Alexandre Lacazette, and as the second top goalscorer in the league, it is hardly a shock to see the Frenchman included. Another star that made the selection is Lens’ Argentine centre-back Facundo Medina who may have flown under the radar. Two goals, three assists and a Champions League spot is an excellent season for the 23-year-old.
Neymar Jr. is also a part of the Ligue 1 TOTS as a Moments player, completing the devastating PSG trio. RC Lens maestro Seko Fofana and Lille playmaker Remy Cabella are featured among the midfielders. FUT favourite Wissam Ben Yedder is among the forwards, with the Monaco striker a nightmare to defend against in the game.
Aside from the main squad, PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe arrived as a Flashback SBC item. With just 11 appearances this season we thought we would have a season off this guy being impossible to get past, but alas, EA has brought him back for another year. Montpellier’s English speedster Stephy Mavididi is available to unlock via SBC too.
Hamari Traore, Lois Openda, Chancel Mbemba, and FUT Hero Jean-Pierre Papin are all available to unlock in various objectives.
Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar will arrive via SBC, and it looks likely to be a Flashback item.

Ligue 1 TOTS vote
EA Sports released their schedule for Team of the Season voting periods well in advance of the event with Ligue 1 the only major league missing from the list. The vote periods for the Community, Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and Serie A squads took place at regular intervals throughout the event, but a sizeable gap was left where Ligue 1 should have been.
Ligue 1 does seem to do things slightly differently than the others when it comes to EA votes. And while the regular Player of the Month votes are available, it does take you away from EA’s official site. Whatever the reasoning behind it, there was no Ligue 1 TOTS vote.
Ligue 1 TOTS release date
The Ligue 1 TOTS squad launched on May 26. A full 15-man squad has arrived, accompanied by three TOTS Moments players and several players available to unlock by completing SBCs or Objectives.
The Ligue 1 superstars will be available in packs for one week before they are replaced by the Serie A TOTS squad on June 2.
