Team of the Season (TOTS) is one of the biggest and longest events in the FIFA calendar and FIFA 23 looks to be no different. Traditionally we get two squads for well over a month. It normally begins in April, just as we are coming into the close of the season for the European leagues, and lasts until June before we get to the FUTTIES and summer festivities.
Now, we have some leaks and news pointing towards when some of these squads may drop, as well as when we can expect the event to begin. Unusually though, according to the leaks, the event begins slightly earlier this year and with the Premier League. Last year the event began on the 29th of April with the Community and Eredivisie squads.
Team of the Season is unique because we get full squads of special cards on Friday and Sunday, not just a smaller drop of cards on Sunday but a whole new squad.
When Will FIFA 23 TOTS Begin?
Earlier today, FIFA 23 revealed its first set of TOTS players, starting with none other than the Premier League. With the voting process well underway, FIFA 23 is officially off and running with the event and will continue to build on it as the weeks carry on.
Down below, we provide the list of remaining leaked dates for other TOTS releases. Once again, it is worth noting these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt. That said, here are the full list of leaked squads below:Â

These leaks are very different to what we have come to expect from TOTS in recent years, not only is it earlier in the month than usual, with the Premier League having a month of football left to be played but the cards are also dropping on different days than usual.
How Many Teams are in FIFA 23 TOTS?
The best thing about TOTS is just how many squads and players there are in the event. First beginning in April and running all the way through to June. Although, if it is earlier this year, then it will likely end in May. Last year there were a total of 14 unique squads, with an Ultimate Squad at the end, which is a re-release of the best cards from the event.
How to Earn TOTS Cards in FIFA 23?
During the TOTS event there are plenty of cards released so you should get one quite easily, it also crashes the market so only a few of them are really expensive. They are also included in the FUT Champions rewards, replacing red picks so you should be able to get a few.
