How to complete Toughen Up Evolution
Completing the Toughen Up Evolution in FC 24 Ultimate Team will take a minimum of 2 matches to complete. There are two levels to the Evolution, each with its own upgrade. The Evolution is free to unlock.
Level 1 – Overall +1, Pace +5, Passing +4, Dribbling +1, Physical +1
- Win 1 Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) matche on min. Semi-Pro, using your active EVO player in game.
- Achieve 1 Clean Sheet in a Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) match on min. Semi-Pro, using your active EVO player in game.
Level 2 – Overall +1, Pace +5, Passing +4, Dribbling +2, Physical +1, PlayStyle Press Proven
- Win 1 Squad Battles (or Rivals/Champions) match on min. Semi-Pro, using your active EVO player in game.
Expiry Date: December 22
Best players for Toughen Up Evolution
The player you pick for this upgrade must fit the following criteria:

Bernardo Silva (OVR 88)
Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva looks to be the standout player to use in the Toughen Up Evolution. He already has brilliant passing and dribbling, with this upgrade bumping them up to 94 PAS and 95 DRI! Even if he doesn’t make your main team after the upgrade, you can turn your 88-rated card into 90-rated fodder for future SBCs.

The Toughen Up Evolution might not transform a player into first-team quality, but it doesn’t mean it won’t come in handy. Changing Bernardo Silva into a 90-rated card can help you complete some SBCs with high requirememnts and save you around 25,000 coins in the process!
N’Golo Kante (OVR 86)
EasySBC tells us that the best card to put through this EVO is N’Golo Kante. A long-time FUT favourite, his downgrades over the past few seasons and then move to the Saudi Pro League means he hasn’t been seen in as many squads in FC 24. However, could a 90.0 Meta Rating tempt you to use him in your side?
Thomas Partey (OVR 85)
Arsenal fans will be pleased to see Thomas Partey is a very decent option for the Toughen Up Evolution in FC 24 Ultimate Team. After the upgrade and with a Shadow attached, he will have 86 PAC, more than enough for operating in the middle of the park.
