RTTF Tracker FC 24 (Road to the Final upgrades)

The Road to the Final event in FUT 24 turned out to be pretty disappointing, but that is about to change! Now is the time that the live cards can earn their upgrades and you can monitor their progress using our FC 24 RTTF Tracker.

Road to the Final Upgrades

As live cards, Road to the Final player items will have various stages to earn upgrades. There are slight differences between how the UCL, UWCL, UEL, and UECL can gain their upgrades, but all have the opportunity to earn five boosts.

The RTTF upgrade paths in FUT 24 are as follows:

UCL

• Win or Draw 1st R16 Game: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Quarter Finals: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Semi Finals: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Final: +1 PlayStyle+
• Win the Final: +1 IF Upgrade, 5* Weak Foot Upgrade, 5* Skill Moves Upgrade

UWCL

• Win or Draw 1st R16 Game: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Semi Finals: +1 IF Upgrade
• Win or Draw 1st Semi Finals Game: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Final: +1 PlayStyle+
• Win the Final: +1 IF Upgrade, 5* Weak Foot Upgrade, 5* Skill Moves Upgrade

UEL & UECL

• Qualify for R16: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Quarter Finals: +1 IF Upgrade
• Qualify for the Semi Finals: +1 IF Upgrade

FC 24 RTTF release date 

EA revealed the Road to the Final promo would return in FUT 24 via a loading screen for the game mode.

The RTTF release date in FC 24 Ultimate Team was February 2. 

A Mini-Release dropped on February 4. The event only lasted for one week, ending on February 9. 

Road to the Final start time

The Road to the Final start time was 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. EA added the new cards to packs at this usual time, as with most other promos. 

Additional RTTF items were released via Objectives and SBCs throughout the campaign.

FC 24 RTTF

Road to the Final, or RTTF, will continue the celebrations of European competitions we’ve already seen in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team through the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) and Team of the Group Stage (TOTGS) events. As a returning promo, we had a good idea of what to expect from the event. 

As with RTTK, RTTF cards are live items. This means they will be upgraded throughout the season depending on real-world results. The further a player’s team progresses in the competition, the more boosts the card will gain. 

Once again, the event covers four European knockout competitions. These are the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League. Players from clubs who have made it to the knockout stages of those tournaments have been included. 

The knockout rounds for the men’s tournaments began on February 13, with the promo cards released just before the fixtures and prior to any results being known. However, the UWCL knockout phase starts on March 19, so we will be waiting a bit for those cards to upgrade!

RTTF FAQs

When do RTTF cards get upgraded?

Road to the Final cards will be upgraded in-game on the Friday of each week when a stage has concluded.

Do RTTF players need to play to get upgraded?

No, upgrades are based on the team result, so a player doesn’t need to feature to earn a Road to the Final upgrade.

What if RTTF players already have a PlayStyles+?

If a Road to the Final player already has one or two PlayStyle+, they will still be able to gain an additional PlayStyle+ from the fourth upgrade.
