There are several different ways by which you can make coins in FC 24. Here are our top tips.

Play matches

The most straightforward way to earn coins in FC 24 is to just play some matches. EA rewards you with coins at the end of each match, with the total amount of coins earned dependent on your performance in-game.

You can also apply coin boosts, which can sometimes be unlocked by working your way through the seasonal objectives set by EA Sports. Coin boosts vary in length and value, but are a healthy addition in the early stages of your Ultimate Team journey.

This method won’t make you rich overnight, but it will help to keep your coin balance ticking over while you get used to the new title.

Compete for rewards

This also falls under the realm of playing matches. However, rather earning the completion reward for playing games, you can earn extra coins by grinding through the various game modes on offer.

If you prefer playing offline, then Squad Battles is a good option for you. You can play up to 32 matches per week. Each win earns you points that will then convert into prizes come the end of the week. 

Online players can earn coin-based rewards via either Division Rivals or Weekend League. Division Rivals doesn’t have a limit to the number of games you can play, while you will be able to play up to 20 games in Weekend League. This method relies on skill, as the more games you win, the more coins you will earn.

Open packs

Another method for earning coins in FC 24 is to open packs. The quality of items in each pack varies depending on its value. As long as you are opening tradeable packs, you will be able to earn coins by either quick-selling your unwanted items, or listing them on the transfer market.

Don’t be afraid to open Bronze or Silver packs either, as these packs cost far less than the Gold packs on offer. However, there are usually some hidden gems which will help to boost your balance.

The “Bronze Pack Method” is a tried and tested formula, but it is time consuming. A Premium Bronze Pack costs 750 coins from the FC Store. If you manage to sell the items in the pack for between 150-200 coins each, you will be making profits.

Sell unwanted items in your club

Getting rid of the dead wood in your club will help you to earn coins, but don’t forget that there are plenty of other items that could be worth value in your club. Whether it’s sought-after consumables or a particularly popular kit, there are plenty of non-player items that could earn you a pretty penny if you’re fortunate enough to have one hidden away in your collection.

Complete SBCs

You can also earn coins by completing SBCs. This is a particularly important method in the beginning of your FUT journey, thanks to the Squad Building Foundations SBC’s.

These SBC’s have been a staple part of Ultimate Team for many years, and offer you the chance to pick up some big coin rewards in return for completing some rather basic SBCs. It’s a great way to get your hands on some extra coins early, as you begin your quest for Ultimate Team glory.
