How to get Icons in FC 24

There are a number of different ways through which you can add an Icon to to your Ultimate Team. They are as follows:

Opening Packs

Opening packs provides you with the opportunity to pick up an Icon without busting the bank. FC 24 Ultimate Team will feature a range of different pack types throughout the year. These will range from the standard Gold and Premium Gold Packs to the higher end Jumbo Rare Players Pack.

The probability of pulling an Icon from a pack is slim. In many cases it sits at less than 1% – with the higher value packs offering a higher probability.

Transfer Market

The most conventional way to get your hands on an Icon is by heading to the transfer market. But do be warned, they won’t come cheap.

You will be able to search for specific Icons on the market. Prices usually starting around the 200,000 coin mark for the lesser desired players.

Squad Building Challenges

The third option available for those trying to pick up a Bobby Charlton or a Mia Hamm is to head to the SBC market. SBCs offer you the chance to pick up a range of rewards – from packs to special edition players – in return for exchanging a set number of squads.

Icon SBC’s have been a prominent feature in the SBC market in recent years, and, whilst there has been no official confirmation that they will return in FC 24, it would come as a huge shock if they didn’t make an appearance this year.

FUT Draft

A final option available for those wishing to use the Icons available in EA FC Ultimate Team is to jump into a FUT Draft. Whilst this method won’t allow you to add any of the Icons to your personal Ultimate Team squad, it will provide you with a chance to play with some of the biggest and best Icons in the game.

Do be aware that there is no guarantee that you will be offered an Icon as an option in your Draft, as the options are randomly generated from the players available in-game.
