FC 24 Season 2 – Full rewards list, end date and promo predictions

It’s time for FC 24 Season 2 in Ultimate Team as FC 24 FUT Season 1: Welcome to the Club is over. This means there are new rewards to work through and new promos to engage with.

The new season is split into two, so we are unlikely to, see any festive treats just yet. Find out everything you need to know about Season 2: Act I in EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team below, including the release date and rewards. 

FC 24 Season 2: Act I release date and start time

The FC Season 2 release date in Ultimate Team was November 2. The start time of the new season was 4am ET / 8am GMT. 

At this point, a new set of Season Progress rewards will become active and any Seasonal Objectives will be replaced. Division Rivals Milestones rewards will also be issued. 

Season 2: Act I will last for three weeks, with an end date of November 23 across PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.

FC 24 Season 2: Act I season progress rewards

The EA FC 24 Season 2 rewards have been revealed. As usual, a mix of Packs, Player Items, and Stadium Customisations are among the rewards. 

However, there are just 20 levels to work through, rather than the usual 30. You will need to amass 19,850 XP to complete all 20 levels.

Best rewards for Season 2

As you can see above, you will have three Player Pick options as you work through the levels. The Dynamic Duos and Storyline picks are actually pretty good, but which ones should you pick?

Thanks to our friends at EasySBC, we can provide you with a helpful meta rating to help you decide who to go for.

There is also one player from Nigeria, Belgium, and Netherlands in each pick. They are also from the same league too, with the Nigerians from the Premier League, Belgians from LaLiga, and Dutch players from Serie A.

This doesn’t mean you need to stay with the same nation, but it may help you in terms of team chemistry.

LVL 10 – Awoniyi, Van der Heyden, or Zirkzee

The picks at LVL 10 are all rated 85 OVR on their cards. However, we (and EasySBC) know better. Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has a meta rating of 88.6 as a Target Forward.

Bologna Joshua Zirkzee is also more than useful. At 6’4″ and with Aerial PlayStyle, Zirkzee boasts a 88.2 meta rating.

Just behind the two target forwards is Siebe Van der Heyden. an 88.0 rating for a Central Defender is more than useful, especially given his Jockey, Slide Tackle, and Aerial PlayStyles.

Our pick – Taiwo Awoniyi

LVL 15 – Onyeka, Ramazani, or Klaassen

This is a tricky one. The level 15 picks just don’t match up to the previous selection. Davy Klaassen has the best meta rating at 87.2, but even then his pace is lacking slightly.

Given our preference for Awoniyi, we are leaning towards Onyeka for chemistry purposes. The Brentford midfielder is also faster and a solid option as a CDM.

Largie Ramazani would be our last option. However, he does possess five PlayStyles, including Finesse Shot, Technical, and Quick Step. This will certainly make him lively on the ball.

Our pick – Frank Onyeka

LVL 19 – Iwobi, Witsel, or Karsdorp

The first thing to note about the LVL 19 picks is that they all boast a PlayStyle+. Axel Witsel is the standout pick here, and his Aerial PlayStyle+ makes him unbeatable in the air.

Witsel has the highest meta rating, but Rick Karsdorp is also a nice option for anyone with Serie A or Dutch links in their side.

It’s a shame Iwobi doesn’t quite reach those heights to make it a Nigerian and Premier League clean sweep for us.

Free rewards in Season 2

Along with the usual seasonal objectives, challenges, and rewards are some free gifts to look out for.

Players who have achieved Founder Status can look forward to a free Erling Haaland in FC 24 Ultimate Team. Make sure to be quick though as this is a limited time offer.

Fans who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game and met the correct criteria can also look forward to redeeming their free UCL or UWCL Hero item in Ultimate Team.

These items will be dished out on November 27, so mark your calendars! Legendary women’s footballers are among the players available, and each item will be untradeable in the game.

FC 24 Season 2 promo predictions 

We already know that the FC 24 Centurions promo will be live when FUT Season 2 launches. Team 1 will be in packs, with Centurions leaked to last for two weeks. 

Centurions celebrates players with at least 100+ caps, and sometimes 100+ goals, assists, or clean sheets. You can check out all the players set to feature in the campaign on our FC 24 Centurions leaks page! 

Bespoke FC 24 Evolutions tailored to the Centurions Campaign will also feature, as we saw during the FC 24 Trailblazers promo. 

Following that, a new promo called Triple Threat is leaked to take over. So far, no information regarding the mechanics of the promo or what sort of players will feature has been announced. 

Winter Wildcards is also leaked to return having been so popular in the FIFA franchise, which is said to have the first Swaps of the FUT 24 campaign. This could appear at the very end of Season 2, although we think it is more likely to come in Season 3.
