FC 24 Ultimate Birthday Team 2, all cards, leaks, and release date

It’s that time of the year when we celebrate the inception of everyone’s favourite game mode, with FC 24 Ultimate Birthday! The event has had a slight name change from FUT Birthday, but we knew what to expect. 

Big boosts for fan favourite players, daily player SBCs, and Birthday Icons are some of the main features of the event! Find out everything you need to know about the Ultimate Birthday promo in FC 24 Ultimate Team below.

Ultimate Birthday all cards

The first Ultimate Birthday cards were released early into FUT, coming as rewards via Season Objectives. Randal Kolo Muani was also been added to the game early, through a separate Objective.

Surprisingly, EA decided to reveal the players gaining an Ultimate Birthday card early. Team 1 was shown off at 7am ET / 12pm GMT. However, we had to wait until the usual time to discover the Ultimate Birthday Icons Team 1 cards.

Ultimate Birthday leaks

The Ultimate Birthday leaks started with @Fut_scoreboard, @AsyFutTrader, and @WetDesignFUT giving us a taste of what to expect. Although players weren’t revealed, what we did have were some card designs. These included the regular Ultimate Birthday items, Ultimate Birthday Icons, and Ultimate Birthday Evolutions.

There have been far fewer weeks during this promo compared to previous releases, with EA seemingly getting a lid on things. One way leaks have been counteracted is by EA revealing the players who will gain items via SBC at the start of the promo!

The following players will gain an Ultimate Birthday card during FC 24 Ultimate Team:

FC 24 Ultimate Birthday release date 

A loading screen officially confirmed that Ultimate Birthday would be the next promo in FUT 24!

The Ultimate Birthday release date in FC 24 Ultimate Team was March 15. However, four items were released via the new Season Rewards, with an additional one via Objectives, a day earlier on March 14.

The campaign will last for two weeks, with two squads released. Team 2 dropped on March 22.

There were also Mini-Releases for each side, one on March 17, and the other on March 24.

Ultimate Birthday start time

The Ultimate Birthday start time was 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. EA added the new cards to packs at this usual time, as with most other promos. 

Additional Ultimate Birthday items will be released via Objectives and SBCs throughout the campaign.

FC 24 Ultimate Birthday

Celebrating the birth of Ultimate Team, Ultimate Birthday has appeared as a promo yearly since FIFA 14, although it was initially called FUT Birthday. Despite dropping the FIFA name, the Ultimate Team game mode continues, so there is no reason to drop the event in FC 24! This year is the 15th anniversary of the start of FUT.

The theme of the event remains similar to previous years. This means that fan-favourite players have gained big boosts, with upgrades to Weak Foot and Skill Move ability a key feature.

As well as currently active players gaining boosts, Icons have received Birthday makeovers! With two squads being released, plenty of top-class options can be added to your club.

Daily player SBCs are another feature of the event. Make sure you have plenty of fodder in your club, as this promo could drain your supplies!

Of course, Evolutions will also play a part in the promo. So far, the following EVOs have been released during the Ultimate Birthday event:

This year, a 5 Star Best Of re-release has also been part of the event, with a fresh selection for each week. This lets you get your hands on some of the best previously released promo players with either five-star Weak Foot or Skill Move abilities!
