Where is the Sorcerer Maister in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

When you get into town, head to the east and you will see an area on your map marked Myrddin’s Home. Unfortunately, you’re likely to get turned away the first time you visit. To get inside, you must be dressed appropriately. Players, including us, have found success by wearing the Courtly Clothing worn for the Masquerade quest. Hopefully, you still have a pair lying around.

Now that you are inside, Myrddin won’t offer any of his teachings until you find all of the Grimoires he seeks. These Grimoires start the Sorcerer’s Appraisal quest.

The books needed for this quest are also needed for the Spellbound quest. If you want to complete both quests, you can go to Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in the Checkpoint Rest Town and get forgeries made.

Nation’s Death Knell location

Nation’s Death Knell is located in the Ancient Battleground in northwestern Vermund. This area is actually rather close to the Checkpoint Rest Town so it shouldn’t take you long to reach if this is your first stop. This is also the area where you can find the Sphinx for her first set of riddles. This area also is where you’ll find the Tolled to Rest escort quest and where you can go for a walk with Glyndwr.
