How to get into Battahl using the Beastren Border Entry Permit

The first method of getting into Battahl requires the Beastren Border Entry Permit obtained during Captain Brant’s quests. Bring this entry permit to the Checkpoint Rest Town. Once there, you can show the permit to the guard at the entrance to gain entry if you are a Beastren. Just select the permit from your inventory to show it to him.

How to sneak into Battahl

Sneaking into Battahl is a much more dangerous route but doesn’t require you to spend gold if you are human. Take the route to the west of the Checkpoint Rest Town. This route is much more dangerous and requires you to take on multiple powerful monsters including a Chimera.

If you decide to take the side path, we recommend staying the night at the inn, upgrading your weapons and armor, and maybe hiring some new Pawns. The cave you are looking for is called Thunderclap Cave. This path will lead you to Shutram Falls. When you are done, you will officially be in Battahl and able to complete the main quest.

Fighting the Chimera

For fighting the Chimera, we recommend unlocking the new vocation called Mystic Spearhand. We found it very useful when taking on the boss monster. We also recommend having a sorcerer and a warrior with you.

That is everything you need to know about getting to Battahl. Be sure to also check out how to get Discipline Points in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You can also check out how to learn Elvish if you haven’t already.
