Getting the Forager Specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The Forager Specialization tome is given to you by Malcolm in the slums section of Vernworth. Once you have completed the Heel of History side quest, Malcolm should stop you during the day and give you the tome. If not, speak with him to get it.
How to get the Forager’s Tome in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To learn the Forager Specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to get the Forager’s Tome. This tome is given to you by Malcolm after you complete the Heel of History side quest. To obtain this tome from him, visit the Gracious Hand church in the slums in Vernworth during the day. If you have completed the quest, Malcolm should stop you and gift you the Forager’s Tome.

The Heel of History quest is tied to the main story of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and is part of the Caged Magistrate quest. During this time, Kendrick will initiate the Heel of History which will lead you to the Gracious Hands Vault. Once this is completed, you will be able to finish the Caged Magistrate.
With both quests complete, wait for a few days. You can complete other quests that you might have or interact with a few NPCs. You can also just rest at your home if you are feeling weary. Return to the slums of Vernworth later on and speak with Malcolm to get the Forager’s Tome. Keep in mind that this tome cannot be used by the Arisen and can only be given to your Pawn. Other tomes such as the one for Woodland Wordsmith will be found in other areas of the game.
