Does Street Fighter 6 have cross progression? With the latest Capcom fighting game installment being available on a variety of platforms, those that own multiple gaming devices have naturally been wondering whether their progress will carry over from one system to the other. But since the developers are yet to actually provide a statement on this particular feature, many are still left confused to this day.

Luckily, we’re here to provide the answer you’ve been looking for so you won’t have to search any longer. So with that said, if you want to find out whether you can continue your journey with the rest of the Street Fighter 6 roster on different consoles, then here’s all you’ll need to know.

Does Street Fighter 6 support cross progression and cross save?

Unfortunately, no. Street Fighter 6 does not support cross-progression and cross-saves, meaning you’ll be stuck with the platform you bought the game on. This also means that if you want to play it on a handheld device, then you’ll have to purchase SF6 for the PC so it’ll be available for your Steam Deck.

The lack of cross-progression with Capcom’s latest series installment is obviously a huge disappointment for some players since having it easily accessible over different platforms is massively beneficial for a fighting game with a significant online presence. Those that prefer playing beat ’em ups on a smaller device are also essentially left with only the PC port since Street Fighter 6 isn’t playable on the Switch.

But even though cross-progression isn’t currently available, Capcom may still introduce it at some point in the future to appease their loyal fan base. In the meantime, we’ll just have to remain patient while we battle it out using the consoles we bought Street Fighter 6 on.
