There’s a host of Diablo 4 promos in time for the game’s release this week – as loads of companies want to get in on the hype around the highly anticipated action ARPG.

Of course, the upside shot of that for you is that you can claim a bunch of free stuff including cosmetics just by redeeming some codes, with many attached to special tie-in products. Some of these are things you’d likely be buying anyway. So if you’re planning to get stuck in on Diablo 4’s start date – you’ll want to bookmark this page as we keep it up to date with all the promos for the game as we hear about them. We’ll try and keep this page updated as best as we can – and don’t forget, there’s also the Diablo 4 Twitch Drops for more free cosmetic goodness.

Diablo 4 – all promos

KFC

Rewards: Dread Pheasant Slayer Bow, Thrumming Axle Staff, Vessel of the Eleven Totem (unconfirmed), Hand of Gallus Polearm (unconfirmed), Foul Reaper Scythe (unconfirmed).
Notes: Expires July 2, US Only.

Just as it did with the beta, purveyor of fried chicken KFC is offering customers in the US some rewards just by buying specific menu items. As spotted by Wowhead, if you order any sandwich or sandwich combo online between now and July 2, you’ll unlock some in-game rewards.

Two of these rewards were revealed by Diablo community director Adam Fletcher, who revealed on his Twitter account that he’d purchased the promo and got the following weapon cosmetics:

  • Dread Pheasant Slayer Bow
  • Thrumming Axle Staff
  • Vessel of the Eleven Totem (unconfirmed)
  • Hand of Gallus Polearm (unconfirmed)
  • Foul Reaper Scythe (unconfirmed)

According to Wowhead, other cosmetics in the promo include a ‘Foul Reaper’ Scythe, while a certain Redditor apparently uncovered a ‘Vessel of the Eleven’ Totem and a ‘Hand of Gallus’ Polearm. Bear in mind – it’s one reward per purchase – and a maximum of 5 rewards per account. Also – this promo is for digital (online) orders only through the KFC app or on KFC.com only, and NOT in-restaurant.

You will also need to connect your KFC.com account with your Battle.net account in order to claim these rewards. In order to do this, you will first need to log in through the fast-food chain’s official collaboration page. Once you’ve done so, head back to the same page and follow the link at the bottom where you’ll be able to link it to your Battle.net account.

SteelSeries

Rewards: Bound Faith Mouth Trophy

Peripheral manufacturer SteelSeries has created a bunch of Diablo 4 themed hardware to celebrate the game’s launch that includes a specially designed Arctis Nova 7 Wireless headphones, an Aerox 5 Wireless Mouse and Thumbsticks Collector’s Edition. Buying any one of these three products will get you the Bound Faith Mount Trophy, which you can equip from the Stable once you’ve redeemed the code.

We’ll keep this page updated with any further promos as we hear about them. Diablo 4 releases officially on June 6, 2023 although early access for those who own any of the game’s deluxe editions starts from Friday, June 2.

Twitch Support a Streamer

Rewards: Primal Instinct Mount
Notes: Expires July 2, 2023

There’s an additional promotion on streaming platform Twitch – that’s separate from, but running alongside the existing Twitch Drops campaign.

If you purchase two gift subscriptions of any tier from this list of specific Diablo 4 streamers, you’ll nab yourself a Primal Instinct Mount cosmetic as a reward for your trouble. Do note that this isn’t anyone streaming the game, and only the specific creators on this list. But it runs from June 5 all the way through until July 2, 2023 – so you’ve got plenty of time to be generous and get something nice in return.

Trolli Candy (NB: Not actually an in-game promo)

Rewards: None
Notes: Not on general sale.

Finally, we want to flag up a promotion that was a fun idea, but is not actually a tie-in that will net you any freebies and, in fact, is not actually for sale – but we’re warning you as a PSA so that you don’t waste time trying to track it down.

An image has been circulating online of a special bag of sweets from US brand Trolli Candy of a bag of sweets with a Diablo 4 twist. These are ‘Lilith’s Sour Bursting Dungeon Crawlers’ – which appear to be gummy worms with a liquid centre. Despite the packing and imagery, however, there is no in-game reward in Diablo 4 on offer for Trolli candies.

In fact, as it later transpired, these sweets – while a great and fun tie-in – aren’t actually for general release. Trolli explained on Twitter that these sweets are not going to be for general sale, and were just produced in small quantities and given out at events to a select number of people as a fun bit of marketing promotion to tie in with the game.

Many fans of the sweets (and game) were disappointed by the news that these aren’t for public release but hey, perhaps if demand is big enough, they might be convinced to make them for real.
