Fans of upcoming Blizzard RPG Diablo 4 were able to get access into the eagerly anticipated beta from an unlikely source. (Or should that be sauce?)

Fast food restaurant KFC announced that customers in the US could get their hands on a beta code by purchasing a specific sandwich from KFC.com or via the KFC app.

Here’s what you need to know.

Diablo 4 Early Access open beta promo at KFC

You can get yourself a code for the beta by ordering a Double Down sandwich from KFC.com or via the KFC app from March 9 2023 until March 18, 2023 – while supplies last.

Codes will be provided on a first come, first served basis – and will get these codes sent to their email they used to place the order. There’s also a limit of one per order.

Sadly, the promo has now ended as the early access beta has finished – though you can still order the Double Down sandwich until March 23, 2023.

However, if you still want to try Diablo 4 – you will be able to try the game’s open beta from March 24 – no code required!

Is the Diablo 4 Early Access KFC beta US only?

Yes, unfortunately this promotion was only available in the US. It was not available in NZ, UK, EU or anywhere else for that matter.

Once you have your code – you’ll just have to head to the Diablo 4 Beta website to redeem it for your platform of choice. You can find full instructions right over here.

The Diablo 4 Early Access beta will take place from March 17 2023 through until March 19, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

It’ll then be followed by an Open Beta that anyone can jump in on from March 24 through until March 27, 2023.

Diablo 4’s full release, meanwhile, is set for June 6, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
