How to get and equip the Crown Tag in Black Ops 6 Season 1

You have probably already seen players running around with a crown as their clan tag. Obviously, that is a brand new special cosmetic reward in Black Ops 6 Season 1. So how can you get your hands on one, or if you have it already, how can you equip it? We’ll explain everything you need to know.

How to get the Crown Tag in BO6

You can only get the Crown Tag in Black Ops 6 if you purchase the premium BlackCell Season 1 Battle Pass. Once you’ve bought the pass, you will get the Black Cell Clan Tag, aka the Crown Tag, as part of the BlackCell instant rewards. You will get the BlackCell Battle Pass automatically if you’ve purchased the Vault edition of Black Ops 6. Otherwise, you have to get it from the store, where it’s priced at $29.99 (or 2400 COD Points) and comes with 20 tier skips.

Note that BlackCell Battle Pass comes with more cosmetics than the regular Season 1 BattlePass, which is priced at 1100 COD Points, or approximately $10. However, the regular paid Battle Pass doesn’t come with the BlackCell Clan tag.

How to equip the Crown Tag in BO6

Once you’ve unlocked the instant reward tier by visiting the Battle Pass page, you will be able to find and equip the Crown Tag. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to Multiplayer mode and select Barracks.
2. Select Customize, then Profile.
3. Click on the Clan Tag button.
4. This will offer you the option to Equip Black Cell Clan Tag. 
5. Click it and you’re done!

Next time you load up into multiplayer or any other game mode you choose, you will have a crown in your clan tag space, next to your in-game nickname. This won’t affect gameplay in any way, but you’ll be able to show off your allegiance to Black Cell for everyone to see.
