The Zombies mode in Black Ops 6 twists the shooter’s formula in several different ways. This reflects not only on gameplay, but on your loadouts and range of options as well. Gobblegums are one such mechanic that is only present in the Zombies game mode. These special booster consumables can be used to get an edge against the undead horse. But how to get more of them and what do they do? Let’s find out.
How to get more Gobblegums in BO6 Zombies?
The main way to get Gobblegums is by levelling up your player account and by completing rounds in the Zombies mode. Several player levels will unlock new Gobblegum options and provide you with one Gobblegum of that type:

Besides that, completing rounds in Zombies mode can net you free Gobblegums, selected from a random pool after each wave. The higher the wave number, the more of them you can get.
Once you’ve set up your Gobblegum Loadout, you can get them from the Gobblegum Machine found on the map. You need to purchase them from there for Salvage, then use them. Otherwise, you can store up to three in your inventory. They can’t be traded with other players.
What are Gobblegums?
Gobblegums are single-use consumables that can only be used in the Black Ops 6 Zombies mode. Consuming one will grant you a buff that lasts for the whole run in which it was used. Before setting off to play Zombies, you can set up your Gobblebum Loadout. There, you can select five Gobblegums to be available to spawn from Gobblegum Machines on the map. Note that there’s a number next to Gobblegums in your loadout, showing how many of them you currently have. After picking it up from the machine, it will be added to your inventory and removed from the loadout. You can then consume it to get a permanent buff for the current run. Gobblegums vary in rarity as well as in effect. The rarities you can get are:
- Rare: Usually spawns basic upgrades and power-ups.
- Epic: Usually spawns uncommon power-ups and modifiers.
- Legendary: Strong boosts like equipment discounts, team revives, and more.
- Ultra: Super-powered effects, like spawning wonder weapons and perks.
- Whimsical: Fun visual effects that have no effect on gameplay.
