The JOKR launcher is a weapon featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It is one of the launchers available in the game. It is a fire-and-forget launcher with a large explosive radius, which is great for taking down vehicles and installments. It is a weapon used for long-range attacks and not suitable for close combat. It is recommended for users to use it as a long-range weapon because the launcher hits the target from above, so if you use it in a room full of enemies, you will probably die along with them.

JOKR Overview

With its infrared-guided missiles, it ensures the destruction of heavily armored vehicles. The JOKR trades in the dependable, adaptable backup provided by the X12 and X13 Auto subweapons for quick damaging bursts that, when deployed strategically, could have a significant impact. With only one rocket per clip and none in reserve, the JOKR’s ammunition is extremely scarce. Although there are other methods to replenish this ammo, you cannot use the JOKR launcher as your main weapon by default.

The JOKR launcher is a great precision machine with a one-time launching system. However, its main drawback is that the missile has a seven-second travel time, as it must fly high into the air before rocketing downward.

This launcher deals with a great amount of damage, and if used properly, it can even help wipe out whole squads. It is an extremely powerful sub-weapon in COD: Modern Warfare 2. The JOKR’s barrage of missiles can be so powerful, you’ll wish its ammunition weren’t in such short supply.

Fire Rate

Rocket launchers in general have a very low fire rate, and so, similarly, the JOKR launcher has a very low fire rate. Due to a single rocket per clip and only one rocket in reserve, you can only launch one rocket at a time.

Accuracy

The JOKR launcher is a very precise and accurate weapon, as it can lock onto your targets and hit them from above. It allows you to first lock onto the target and then launch, which gives you more precision and accuracy. However, when wielding the JOKR, finding the right time to unleash its rocket is the only thing you should worry about.

Recoil

It has a very low to almost no recoil rate considering it is a rocket launcher with a guided system that fires only one rocket at a time.

Magazine

The ammo of the JOKR launcher is extremely limited as it only has a single rocket per clip and only one rocket in reserve. 

How To Unlock The JOKR Launcher In Modern Warfare 2

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta only offers a small selection of weapons to play with for now. Though the JOKR launcher is usually received as a reward at level 28.

  1. To begin with, level up by playing frequently in order to reach level 28 and unlock the JOKR Launcher, as it will only be available once you reach level 28.
  2. Complete objectives and make enough kills to earn XP.
  3. By completing objectives and earning enough kill XP, you will reach rank 28, where you can unlock the JOKR launcher.
  4. Once available, head over to the Custom Loadouts option in the Weapons menu.
  5. Once you are in the Custom Loadouts, select the plus icon, which will create two loadouts. But if you already have an existing loadout, you can use that as well by choosing JOKR as your secondary weapon.

Currently, there is no weapon platform for the JOKR launcher.

Attachments

Attachments help make your weapon more agile and help make it more effective. In the Modern Warfare 2 beta, the JOKR launcher has no attachments that are unlocked or manually equipped at the moment. You’re still free to customize your own personal playstyle, however, thanks to a choice of perks and equipment to best accompany the JOKR Launcher.

Perks for JOKR Launcher

Alternative To The JOKR Launcher
