You’re not alone if you’re wondering how to connect PSVR 2 to PS5.
Before you can sink your teeth into the VR version of Gran Turismo 7, or start wondering what you can do with PSVR 2’s Cinematic Mode, it’s worth knowing how to connect your VR headset to PS5.
Luckily, the set-up is very user-friendly. Sony has really streamlined the process compared to the PSVR’s set-up.
How do you connect PSVR 2 to PS5?
All you need to do to connect the PSVR 2 to the PS5 is plug it into the USB Type-C port found on the front of the console.
After this, simply press the on-off button on the underside of the scope section of the goggles.
After you’ve done this, you’ll be guided through a few steps to pair the PSVR 2 controllers and adjust the headset. When the time comes to put on your goggles and step into the virtual world, you’ll be prompted to do so.
The next bit of the set-up involves adjusting the interpupillary distance (IPD) and other more vision-critical settings of the headset. Simply pay attention and follow the instructions carefully!
Once you’ve completed this, you’ll return to the familiar PS5 menu screen, and voila – you’re good to go.
