When it released, the S21 actually didn’t see much of a price drop. While you could pick up cheaper second hand handsets, getting hold of a new handset at a discount was basically impossible.

This is likely down to the release of the Galaxy S22 aligning with a global chip shortage that really slowed down production and sales of smartphones. Of course, price drops are never as simple as this, which is why we’re actually anticipating an entirely different launch from the Samsung Galaxy S23.
We’ve taken a look on Amazon, and we’ve actually found some pretty good discounts on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (at the time of writing).
It’s currently being discounted by up to 35%, so now seems like a great time to pick up one of the best gaming phones available right now.
This deal is actually quite surprising, especially considering that the base S22 model isn’t seeing any discounts at the time of writing.
