However, all this is thrown out the window when considering the possibility of a more powerful model.
At the end of the day, at the time of writing, nothing has been announced or confirmed regarding a potential release date for a potential RX 7950 XTX model. This makes it hard for us to believe we could be looking at anything sooner than late Q3 2023 for a possible RX 7950 XTX announcement. We find it more likely that if an RX 7950 XTX was in the works we would see it in a few months time, since it’s powerful sibling was so recently released, and any kind of meaningful refresh in the specs would probably want a bit of breathing room. We couldn’t say for sure on that one until any specs were actually confirmed, though.
For now, we’re going to tentatively speculate that we would expect to see a potential RX 7950 XTX model no sooner than late Q3 2023, and wait for more information to come in before giving a more definitive speculation.
