This is all because of a time exclusivity deal that Sony agreed with the games developer Square Enix. This lasts for 6 months, meaning that for the time being, the PlayStation 5 is the only supported platform for the game.
It is frustrating to see such a limit for Final Fantasy 16, as ultimately it limits the number of players who can enjoy the game. That said, it is good to see a game studio that seems to really care about the quality and playable of their games and is unwilling to churn out unfinished products.
