For those wanting to learn more about Jedi Survivor DLSS mods, don’t worry. You’ve come to the right place.

DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) boosts framerates by using AI to fill in ‘visual gaps’, increasing the FPS over that of raw force sampling. DLSS is an Nvidia developed capability, however AMD has their own version called FSR (Fidelity Super Resolution). With the new release right on the horizon it’s no wonder gamers are wondering if DLSS will feature in the game. In fact, recent reports of performance issues might make the appearance of DLSS even more of a priority.

While there is no sign of DLSS being officially available for Jedi Survivor, modder PureDark has been demonstrating his modded version which does appear to work in the Jedi Survivor.

Do the Jedi Survivor DLSS mods improve performance?

The mod, shown off by PureDark on his Youtube channel, did appear to significantly improve performance. In fact, it went as far as to double the frame rates he was getting.

There is a catch, however, not only is this a mod but one that has not been fully tested yet and PureDark himself noted unsolved issues, specifically around certain visual artefacts.

The mod itself is also not available for anyone to test out yet. While PureDark has released mods to download before, it is not confirmed that this one will become publicly available, and even if it was, that we could condone its download.

Why doesn’t Jedi Survivor have DLSS?

Star Wars Jedi Survivor does not have DLSS, though AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 is featured. Luckily if you’re gaming on a PC that doesn’t have an AMD graphics card, you’re still going to be able to take advantage of FSR to fix those pesky frame rate issues.

This is not too surprising as Jedi Survivor has an AMD partnership. However, Nvidia has released a Game Ready Driver that supports DLSS for Jedi Survivor. Fortunately, since Jedi Survivor will be playable on both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, gamers have the option to configure their own graphics settings.

Will DLSS come to Jedi Survivor?

At the moment, it doesn’t look as though we’re going to see DLSS arrive for Jedi Survivor. However, recent issues with the game not launching might prompt some action from the developers to flash an update with DLSS support. However, this would take weeks, if not months, to implement, so we would not expect it to land with the upcoming Day One Patch that is promised.

We’re going to be keeping an eye on this so make sure to check back in periodically to keep up to date with the latest.
