How to fix Jedi Survivor PC performance issues is the topic on everyone’s minds.

We recently went after the best graphics settings on PC and PS5, however we experienced severe issues with performance that did not fill us with hope at all. With FSR Performance enabled, and ray tracing disabled, we were seeing frame-rates drop to lows of 20-30, when this shouldn’t have happened in any capacity. Something is clearly bugged with the game, and the impending Day One patch couldn’t come sooner.

After the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game received an 86 and 87, respectively, from Metacritic, the PC port was handed an 81. Perhaps reports that the game can use up to 20GB VRAM are responsible for this? There’s a lot going on right now regarding Jedi Survivor’s PC performance issues, so what can be done to fix them?

How to fix Jedi Survivor PC performance issues?

If you’re looking to fix Jedi Survivor’s PC performance issues – here’s a few things we would recommend.

  • Enable FSR Performance mode
  • Disable ray-tracing
  • Play on low-settings
  • Verify integrity of game files
  • Wait for the Day One patch
  • Progress through the game into a less-densely populated area

At the time of writing, as we await the Jedi Survivor Day One patch, we’re just going to have to deal with the performance issues ourselves.

Enable FSR Performance mode

One of the most important features you can use to optimise your game is AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2. This feature is key if you’re trying to get the most frame-rate out of your game, as we’ve previously discussed in our frame-rate guide. It’s not a sure-fire way to eek out more performance from your game, but it will certainly help. You might need one of the best AMD graphics cards to enable this, though it works on Nvidia GPUs too.

Disable ray-tracing

Ray tracing is a great feature, if you have one of the best GPUs for ray tracing. If you don’t you’re going to be experiencing issues with performance that you won’t be able to shake off easily.

While it does offer a lot visually, it also reduces performance pretty harshly. We’d recommend disabling it to get the most out of performance.
