Get your large Memory Stick Duos ready. If reports are to be believed, over the first six months of its release, Wipeout Pure will receive downloadable content in excess of 32MB, making the standard memory card you receive in a PSP Value Pack not up to the job.

Downloadable content is supposed to cover new music tracks, new hovercraft and new tracks, with the new tracks taking up the majority of the space. At the moment it is unclear if Sony plan to charge for these downloads, but it would make sense for them to, initially at least, provide them for free. Many people have had to buy numerous PlayStation 2 memory cards and it looks like you will have to do the same with the PSP.
