The release date for Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 is March 5th. This is confirmed by the current in-game countdown timer. That day has finally arrived, and it will bring wholesale changes to Valorant.
Again, we don’t know much about the upcoming chapter, but one of the most exciting prospects is leaks pointing to the debut of the mysterious Agent 25. This hasn’t been confirmed by Riot Games, but voice messages from Cypher and Fade have teased the arrival of someone from Edinburgh, Scotland.
When does the new Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 start?
Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 will start on March 5th or March 6th depending on your region. Riot Games server status website has confirmed that the server downtime will begin with maintenance at 1:00 pm EST. This is for Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows. All queues will be temporarily closed during this time.
While the arrival of a new Agent is a leak from an often reliable source, what’s officially confirmed by Riot Games is changes to Premier mode. These changes are designed to make the mode better and more accessible to everyone. And fans seem to be happy with the intended changes dubbing them a huge ‘W’.
In addition to Premier mode changes, Riot Games has confirmed rewards for the Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 battle pass. As per usual, there will be a free track of rewards, as well as a priced track that costs 1,000 VP. Furthermore, you will also be able to buy a bundle of snazzy Primordium Skinline weapons that look amazing and add unique animations and sounds.
When does Episode 8 Act 1 end?
The official VALORANT Twitter account confirms Episode 8 Act 1 will end on March 4th. This is how long you have until to unlock everything part of the current battle pass. This includes weapons, player cards, buddies, and stickers.
