The beta originally began on the 11th of August running for three weeks, with unlimited play times for those who had access. Any progress made in the beta will not be carried over to the full game.

Although there won’t be an extension on the beta, or a second wave of codes, the September 30th release date is just around the corner so we don’t have to wait long.

The beta included the whole game, with the new HyperMotion2 being completely playable. The only thing that was missing were the updated player ratings and the updated kits.

How to access FIFA 23 early

If you do still want to access FIFA 23 early then the only ways to do so are to buy the Ultimate Edition of the game – it permits 72 hours of early access – or if you’re an EA Play member, you will have access to a 10 hour trial of FIFA 23 a few days before release.

Overall it seemed as though players had a positive time with the beta, even if there were concerns over the lack of updates to Career Mode. Fans of the FIFA franchise are still slightly disgruntled though, because of the news that Pro Clubs will not feature cross play at launch.

Will my progress in the beta carry over to FIFA 23?

Unfortunately, any progress made in any of the game modes in FIFA 23s beta will not carry over to the main game.

Can I access FIFA 23 early?

In order to play FIFA 23 early you will need to buy the Ultimate Edition of the game or be an EA Play member.
